Since joining Roots just over a year ago, I’ve witnessed a remarkable transformation of the space. It’s filled me with inspiration and ideas for how we can continue to develop the project — expanding what we offer and making the land even more inviting and accessible to the wider community.

My background includes a Permaculture Design Course with SHIFT Bristol, RHS training, and practical experience through the WRAGS scheme at Highgrove Gardens, where I continued to work after completing my training. Organic practices are at the heart of everything I do, and I’m passionate about creating spaces that are not only beautiful and productive but also interactive and engaging.

Working alongside a team of enthusiastic volunteers and colleagues is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. The joy of sharing knowledge, discoveries, and little gardening facts is something that truly excites me.
