I have lived in Somerset for over 20 years and have a diverse background in the VCFSE sector, spanning roles in infrastructure, governance, fundraising, children and families, sport, heritage, and food resilience.

Since June 2024, I have served as the Food Resilience Project Lead for Somerset. My work focuses on strengthening existing partnerships, building new connections, and promoting collaboration between VCFSE and statutory sectors to enhance food resilience.

Key achievements include developing a map of food resilience interventions and launching a small grants scheme that has supported over 20 community organisations.

Additionally, I’ve been working with Somerset Council to incorporate food and water considerations into emergency planning for enhanced community resilience.
